Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Last updated October 17, 2026
1. About this policy
This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy applies to SoulPhone, which is provided by V16I GLOBAL LLC ("we", "us", "our"). It explains how we collect, use, share and protect "consumer health data" as defined by laws such as Washington's My Health My Data Act and Nevada's consumer health data law. It adds to our Privacy Policy, which applies to all other personal data.
2. The consumer health data we collect
- Conversation content that may reveal information about your mental or emotional state, wellbeing or health, from voice or typed conversations with The Source
- Mood insights: the App's own inferences about how you've been feeling, used to personalize later conversations. In the latest version of the App this is a choice you turn on or off in Settings > Privacy & consent; turning it off deletes the stored insights. On earlier versions you can ask us to turn it off and delete them by emailing [email protected]
- Guided hypnosis safety answers: your answers to the safety questions before a guided hypnosis session. In the latest version of the App these are saved only if you turn this on; you can ask us to delete earlier answers at any time
- Apple Health data (iPhone only), such as sleep and activity. Only if you grant access in iOS
- Safety signals: whether an automated system detected signs of crisis in a conversation, and which crisis resources were shown
3. Where it comes from
Directly from you, when you talk or type in the App, answer questions or grant Apple Health access, and from the App's automated processing of those conversations.
4. Why we collect and use it
- So The Source can understand you and reply
- To personalize your conversations, meditations and guided hypnosis
- To keep you safe: detecting signs of crisis and showing crisis resources
- To run, secure and fix the App
We collect consumer health data only with your consent, or as necessary to provide the service you asked for. We never use it for advertising, and we never sell it.
5. Who we share it with
We share consumer health data only with service providers that process it on our behalf to provide the App: cloud hosting and storage, AI model providers, and speech-to-text and text-to-speech providers. They may use it only to provide their service to us. We do not share it with advertising or attribution partners, data brokers or anyone else for their own purposes. Before your first conversation the App asks for your consent to send your conversations to these providers. A current list of providers is available on request.
6. Your rights
You can:
- Confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, and get a list of the third parties and affiliates we share it with
- Get a copy of your consumer health data
- Delete your consumer health data
- Withdraw your consent at any time in Settings > Privacy & consent
- Appeal if we decline your request
To use these rights, email [email protected] with the subject "Health data request", or delete your account in the App (see Delete your account). We'll respond within the time the law requires, usually 30 to 45 days. To appeal a decision, reply to our answer with the subject "Appeal". If we deny your appeal, you can contact your state Attorney General.
7. How long we keep it
Call audio: up to 30 days. Transcripts: up to 90 days. Mood insights and saved guided hypnosis answers: until you turn them off or delete your account. Short conversation summaries: while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete this data from our active systems within 30 days.
8. Changes and contact
If we change this policy we'll update the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the App. Questions: [email protected].
